The April/May double issue of Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine, containing my story “Adrift,” is now in stores. This is what the cover looks like, complete with a list of other people I am totally stoked to be sharing a table of contents with!
Look mom and dad! Finally! My name, up in ink!

I went to two Barnes & Nobles and a Borders looking for it, and they were all sold out. SOLD OUT! I’ve yet to even read “Adrift,” either.

Yeah, it looks like a lot of the locations don’t stock it regularly anymore, which makes me sad. I found four copies at the Barnes & Noble near North Star, but bought them all. I don’t know if they will restock or if they are just sold out.
Eventually the issue should be available digitally through Fictionwise. Also, you I will send a copy of the story.

I have pestered the kind old man who is in charge of our periodicals to hold me a copy of this when it comes in (we’ve only just started selling Asimov’s too!). I can’t wait!

I read “Adrift” and it was amazing. Best story in the issue! I had to track you down and tell you. Really really amazing 🙂

I get Asimov’s from Fictionwise (so fortunately it’s never sold out). I too really loved Adrift. Great characters, great conflict, page turning, very well written story. I really look forward to more from you in the years to come.
